People must make appointments online or by calling the state hotline. The Fair is not in charge of this distribution site and people cannot make appointments by calling the Fair. Only people designated in Phases 1A and 1B are eligible. The following FAQ provides important information and answers to many questions regarding the vaccination site.

Since federal supply severely limits the ability to distribute vaccine, New Yorkers are encouraged to remain patient and are advised not to show up at vaccination sites without an appointment. We do not book appointments at the Fair. You must make an appointment. You should receive your second dose at the same facility as your first dose. At the State Fair Expo Center facility, after your first dose, you will automatically be scheduled for your second vaccination.
You will receive confirmation one or two days after your visit with appointment details. All appointments are being booked for 21 days or three weeks later , at the same time slot as your first dose.
You should bring your vaccine card and ID with you. Your appointment for the second dose is 21 days or three weeks after your first appointment, at exactly the same time as your first appointment. Please b ring the vaccination card you received at the first appointment. Some pharmacies and local health departments are vaccinating eligible populations based on vaccine availability.
